It was in 2017 in La Ciotat that two food and travel enthusiasts joined forces to create the SO MOCHI group. 
Julien Biondo and Jonathan Stioui created the MOCHIRI brand, which has become the benchmark for Japanese catering.
Their growing expertise will enable them to offer a truly sublime version of this little frozen pastry. 
Today, SO MOCHI has gained undeniable legitimacy in the world of Japanese gastronomy thanks to their passion and expertise.

In 2020, at the request of numerous Provencal outlets, a brand dedicated to supermarkets was created, La Compagnie du Mochi. Its promise? To introduce the French to the delicious pastry that is mochi, a symbol of a culinary tradition rich in flavour.  
Over the last 3 years, the brand has undergone dazzling growth, expanding throughout France and internationally. 

With its unique flavours and high-quality products, the brand makes a point of embodying the values of boldness and creativity.

Structure, a human story

 

Compagnie du Mochi has around thirty employees and a 1200 m2 warehouse. The enthusiastic, dynamic team behind this human-scale business aims to continue growing. 
Each member is driven by the passion and inspiration behind the project, making these values the driving force behind their commitment.
